The New CLD500 Series Chlorine Dioxide sensors use advanced amperometric measurement technology to provide highly accurate monitoring of chlorine dioxide in disinfectant applications.
Garden Grove, California (November 30, 2012) – Sensorex’s CLD500 Chlorine Dioxide Sensors use advanced amperometric measurement technology to provide highly accurate monitoring of chlorine dioxide in disinfection applications. With two models covering the 0 – 2ppm and 0-10ppm full scale ranges, CLD500 sensors can be used in new installations or as a field replacement for existing sensors in chlorine dioxide generators, pools, and other water treatment systems.
The CLD500’s advanced sensing membrane keeps cross sensitivity interference from free chlorine to a minimum. The CLD500 features improved sensor stability over the entire operating temperature range. An integral two wire loop powered transmitter with 4-20mA output delivers readings to process control systems such as a PLC or DCS. The CLD502 covers the 0-2ppm range, while the CLD510 model covers the 0-10ppm. A large electrolyte reservoir with an easily replaced membrane cap and solution reduce maintenance and maximize sensor life.
