The model CT-1000
(encapsulated miniature transmitter) is a 2-wire, 4-20mA blind
conductivity transmitter featuring encapsulated construction,
high performance, compact size and ATC. Connect
a conductivity cell of k=0.1 or 1.0 to it to then transform the
output to a 4-20mA current proportional to the conductivity level.
This output may be transmitted over 2 wires to a control location.
The same 2 wires provide power to the transmitter. Any DC power
supply from 12 to 36V DC may be used. There are two adjustments
on the transmitter to standardize the conductivity output marked
as "SPAN" and "ZERO". The output can be monitored with a loop-powered
meter, a loop resistor, PLC, Data logger or a multimeter during
the standardization process. ATC is available, when connected
to a 10k NTC thermistor.
The CON500 features microprocessor based technology and offers 6 user programmable conductivity ranges. Both conductivity and temperature are displayed simultaneously on the large LCD display. Out of range current indicator and current hold during calibration, are just a few of the user-friendly programming features that are standard with this transmitter. The CON500 ranges allow for use of sensors with k=0.1, k=1.0 and k=10.0, a feature not possible with the CT-1000 (fixed range & k-factor). Both "ZERO" and "SPAN" calibration adjustments are made via the easy-to-use membrane touch pad. The housing is a 1/4 DIN box with IP65 & NEMA4X rating that can be panel or wall mounted.
The
new TCSMA 2-wire transmitter is designed for use with our TCS3020 series toroidal sensors. DC power requirement is
16-35VDC. Output is isolated 4-20mA. Download Specs for details.
