pH Buffers and Solutions
Sensorex supplies pH buffers as dry powder ready to mix with 100 mL of DI water and pre-mixed ready-to-use color coded liquids--blue for 10 pH, red for 4.01 pH, and yellow for 7 pH. Several other useful chemicals are available. Electrode storage solution will help you to maximize the storage life of all your electrodes such as reference electrode refill solutions as well as several types of gels are available.
pH Buffers
New Sensorex pH Buffer Powder Packets are now available to prepare on-site 100mL samples. Packets are available for pH 4, pH 7, and pH 10 buffers. They are also available as 90mV and 250mV ORP standards.
Sensorex buffers are accurate to within ± 0.01 pH units at 25°C and remain stable over long periods of time. Standard packaging is shown below. Buffers are available in pint (473 ml) or gallon (3.784 Liter) sizes.
As with all buffers, these solutions are temperature sensitive. For accurate calibration, heat or cool your buffer solution to 25°C before using. If this is not convenient, compensate for the thermal errors associated with these buffers.
Storage Solution
All Sensorex pH electrodes are shipped with soaker bottles or caps that are filled with a special soaking solution. This ensures that the electrodes are ready to work, right out of the box. No rejuvenation is needed. This soaker solution is a perfect balance of chemicals to maximize the life of any glass membrane pH electrode. Order part number is S16.
Reference Refill Solutions and Gels
Several types of reference refill and gel solutions are available for your laboratory electrodes including S17, S18, S19, and S20 shown below.
